The herbs in this formulation have been traditionally used and prescribed for rehabilitation in horses which have suffered a major health breakdown, suffered poisoning, snake bite or have, for other reasons, developed liver or kidney damage or are recovering from a major illness, surgery or accident. The tonic may protect your horse from repercussions and relapses during recovery.
Even if the horse is so severely debilitated that there seems no option but to put the animal down, using appropriate treatment for shock along with the Conditioning Tonic to restore metabolic harmony, can return the horse to health (and eventually to work).
A horse going for surgery should be prepared before, and treated immediately afterward, using rosehips and Rescue Remedy. Then it should be given the Conditioning Tonic as a supplement to aid a full recovery.
This mix will have an animal back on its feed and recovering to a better condition within days. The effect of this tonic will be to protect your horse from repercussions and relapses during recovery. Spelling time will also be reduced dramatically.
Because of its health-giving properties the Conditioning Tonic is also often used to prepare a horse for sale.
The aim in this case, is to present the horse in the best all round health as displayed by its condition generally and the state of its coat, hooves, eyes and nervous disposition.
The mix includes the following:- Blue Flag, Borage, Chamomile, Dandelion, Ethanol, Fennel, Garlic, Hawthorn, Liquorice, Maritime Pine Bark, Nettle, Raw Apple Cider Vinegar, Spring Water, Dr Bach™ Flowers; Rescue Remedy™, Scleranthus, Walnut.
