An alternative or addition to an Epsom Salts bath to relax muscles and any tension. Magnesium cream is also another way of absorbing magnesium which is so low in our diets today.
Magnesium is a natural sedative and lost when a person is under stress. It's very important for the skeletal system as you need Calcium and Magnesium in a ratio of 2:1. (Dairy has abundant calcium but very little magnesium).
Some problems of low magnesium absorption are cramps, aches and pains, insomnia, being short tempered, edgy, depressed and trouble concentrating, trouble with cardio-vascular (heart), arthritis, kidney and gall stones, bursitis, urinary frequency and constipation along with sugar imbalances (hyper or hypoglycemia) and even chronic fatigue.
So you can see how useful this cream will be. Rub on each night over all the body if you need to relax. Do this for a fortnight then rest for two days before continuing treatment. Also maybe rubbed on specific areas such as arms and legs (especially if you have cramps) before you go to bed.
Make your own magnesium cream by adding Epsom salts to a little hot water then mix into a vitamin E cream along with 6 drops of lavender oil.
