Pemphigus Herbal Treatment - McDowell's Herbal Treatments

hac14.jpg

Pemphigus is an uncommon auto immune system disease that causes blistering of the lining of the vagina, mouth, penis and other mucus membranes. It tends to afflict older people and can be fatal as it destroys the structures that maintain cell to cell contact. Bullous Pemphigoid is not as dangerous as Pemphigus however it does form hard tight blisters that can persist for a long time. The blisters of Pemphigus are soft and fluid filled with the skin detaching from lower layers. The blisters either form painful ulcers or rupture leaving raw wounds that are open to infections.

My specific mix for this uncomfortable condition includes:- Burdock, Golden Seal, Fenugreek, Liquorice, Vervain, Rosehip, Elecampane, Hypericum and Euphorbia along with the Bach Flowers Impatiens, Vervain, Crab Apple, Gorse, and Water Violet. These herbs and Bach Flowers together strengthen mucus membranes and adrenals, support new tissue growth, remove infection, rebalance circulation as well as soothing irritation, swelling and redness.

To soothe and heal the blisters externally I recommend our skin irritant cream.
