Baldness is much more common in men than women, as it is associated with the balance of male hormones.

On an emotional level balding can relate to tension being held in the scalp and trying to control everything in life. The hair shaft can be squeezed so tighly that the hair can no longer be sustained by the circulation.

McDowells Products

Balding Mix
This mix contains herbs which support the scalp health through improved circulation and also helps to address the underlying hormonal issues that can influence hair loss.
The formula I have put together includes Oats, Saw Palmetto, Phytolacca, Rosehips, Vervain, Sarsaparillo, and Rosemary along with the Bach Flowers Mimulus, Aspen, Honeysuckle, Wild Oat, and Cerato.

Alopecia Mix
The Alopecia Mix inproves the nourishment and circulation to the hair follicles this helps to reduce hair loss, and encourage regrowth. It contains Nettle, Horsetail, Violet Leaves, Blue Flag, Bladderack, Echinacea, Mistletoe, Rosehips, St. Mary’s Thistle Dr Bach Flowers; Rescue Remedy, Larch and Crab Apple.

In conjunction with the internal mixes, we recommend massaging with rosemary oil to stimulate the scalp and hair follicles. You should be aware however, that any hair follicles that are already damaged will not recover, and massage initially will seem to cause more hair loss.
