Bladder Prolapse - McDowell's Herbal Treatments

A prolapse is a situation where the connective tissue supporting the organs lose their tension or the walls of certain organs lose their tension and the structure collapses down with the weight of gravity.

There are very specific herbs and exercises which help restore the elasticity of the connective tissue and I can provide a course of these herbs by post.

Couch Grass has specific action in re-toning the bladder sphincters and I use it in all cases of incontinence, however caused, for this purpose.

Elecampane and Equisetum used together, support the return to normal health any scarred or damaged connective tissue (as well as bones) and I include these in my prolapse formulation to assist with healing.

Saw Palmetto is useful in all cases of muscle or connective tissue wastage, however caused, and I include this as well.

Uva Ursi is a tonic and stimulant for the bladder.

I also include Wheat grass and Raspberry Leaf as well as the Bach flowers Vine, Oak and Honeysuckle.

In any individual case I like to include other ingredients specific to their own personal health and medical history but for this I need you to submit to my online consultation procedure to be found on my website by clicking on the link:

It is also useful to take the weight off the bladder at night to allow the stretched ligaments to recover and this is easily done by elevating the foot of your bed with a brick or some such device to lift it up. This causes the organs to slide back to their normal position at night and facilitate the recovery especially when on the herbal treatment.

You would be on the program for 6 to 12 months but should notice improvements within the first 6 weeks.
