Fortunately, natural treaments and herbal tonics can work well to ameliorate the condition. When we treat rosacea we use herbs to reduce skin and circulatory sensitivity, while at the same time strengthening the blood vessel walls.

Things that can cause flare-ups:

  • Stress and anxiety
  • Food allergies
  • Inflammatory foods such sugar, coffee, alcohol and processed foods
  • Too much sun exposure
  • Extreme heat or cold
  • Medications, such as topical steroids, vasodilators, and beta-blockers
