Mast cell tumors (also called mastocytomas, mast cell sarcomas) are usually benign but potentially malignant neoplasms of cats. These tumors may occur in cats of any age (average 8-10 yr). They may occur anywhere on the body surface skin as well as in internal organs, Liver, Spleen & Blood & Gastro intestinal tract are a few of the most common sites.

Common Signs of a Mast cell tumor

  • The most common presentation of a mast cell tumor is a lump in the skin; about 10% of the patients will have or will develop more than one mast cell tumor
  • The mass may appear as a raised pink lump.
  • Sometimes the mass may be a less well defined mass.
  • If the lump is massaged or rubbed it may swell or form hives....called the Darier sign; this is caused by the release of histamine from the mast cells.

Mast Cell Cancer is becoming much more common in companion cats nowadays and I have to say I do not completely understand why, apart from the fact that cats seem to be following their human masters more closely in the incidence of an increasing array of 20th Century diseases, the leader amongst which are cancers.

Underlying the development of all cancers is a generalised breakdown of metabolic and immune systems and the bodily processes involved in cell health maintenance.

Cats' livers are called upon to digest far too much chemically polluted and processed food since the advent of commercial cat feed in the 1950's. Often also the domesticated cat is never allowed to eat fresh meat or bone in their diet at all.

Mast Cell Cancer could therefore be seen as an end result of a systemic and prolonged assault on blood and the immune system, which may never have appeared without late 20th century feeding practices.

I prepare a specific herbal Mast Cell Cancer Support mixture of concentrated extracts of: Bladderack, Elecampane, Wormwood, Dandelion, Golden Seal, Parsley, Rosehips, Albizia and Violet Leaves along with appropriate Bach Flower Remedies.

This mix is given in conjunction with Maritime Pine super antioxidant which is derived from the Maritime Pine and together they have the potential to slow down and reverse the development of Mast Cell Cancer.

This Cancer Support mix can be used in conjunction with other alternative medicines also, or with orthodox medical treatments including radio and chemo therapy.

The important distinction between my herbal treatment and orthodox medicine is that here I am aiming to address the underlying processes which allowed the cancer to develop in the first place.

I expect positive results vitality improvement to show up within the first four weeks of having your cat on this program and ask that you keep in touch with regular reports once you start on it.
