Hello, I am looking for a natural way to supplements my horse with vitamins and minerals. I saw your recommendations of the grains, green food, wheat germ, molasses and so on. Could you tell me how much of each he should get? Thank you
Robert Replied:
I suggest you keep your horse primarily on hay and pasture 24/7 day and night. Don't lock him up in a stable and if you need to give extra dry grass try to get meadow hay rather than something pasteurised.
Soak 2 or 3 cups of grain, barley perhaps, overnight and give each day this amount. Add pollard 1 cup per day or 2 if you are trying to recover any lost weight.
Add to a litre of boiling water and make into a tea each day 2 tablespoons of Chamomile Flowers and 2 tablespoons of Rosehips Granules. This will provide for digestive system support, vitamin C and Iron and many other useful ingredients.
Use the tea above to dampen feed am and pm and add 2 desert spoonfuls of molasses.
Give a protein concentrate like copra meal 2 - 4 Kg's each day.
Give ground Millet and Linseed (Flaxseed) one cup each to protect and assist all bone and ligament strength and elasticity.
This is all that is needed for healthy strong horses.

The Epstein Barr Virus is blamed for Glandular Fever and if you read the article on glandular fever, you will find that the preconditions are very similar to the Chronic Fatigue ones. You will find also that the virus is not to blame it is merely a parasite living in a system that is severely depleted in its Vitamin B metabolism. See;
The way back to recovery from glandular fever is to build up your Vitamin B through large doses of multi B's and Vitamin B12 and I offer a Glandular Fever Support mix also ($49.50 for a 7 weeks course)
The mix includes Chamomile, Blue Flag, Dandelion, Yarrow, Maritime Pine Bark, Red clover and Echinacea along with the Bach Flowers Rescue Remedy, Olive, Walnut and Scleranthus.
The treatment can be ordered from;
As in most cases each individual requires a slightly different formulation depending on their own constitution, health history, and stress handling responses. I offer a full one hour assessment and written report and individual herbal treatment
In order to make better decisions about how you want your life to go, you first need to be feeling strong within yourself and this you must do by taking control and doing something for yourself first.

Depression can be treated herbally and I do it all the time. However depression is a very personal disease and it is really the person you must treat.
There are dozens of herbs which I think about when sitting down before a depressed person in a one hour face to face consultation and at the end I hope to be down to those 5 or 6 herbs that would suit this particular individual with all his/her history, background, symptoms, physical health, personality, attitudes and bad habits taken into account.
During the consultation I find out whether the depression stems from the patients worldview, sense of self, empowerment, family ties, drug history and all the rest. Without all this I cant suggest a single herb.
If a patient wanted to get out of their depression and they wanted to go alternate, I can offer them my full online consultation service to be found on
http://www.herbal-treatment.net/herbal_treatment_consultation.html
And encourage them to fill in all the questions as detailed as possible.
If it is someone else who wants them to get better, you "can only lead the horse to water"
I hope this has been of some help.
I have two treatment programs for kidney stones.
## The first being my Calcium Stone Mix which is found on the website at
And this one does ease the symptoms to some extent but is more to reverse the processes of stone formation and to break down steadily any existing stones into fine Gravel, which is easily passed.
The second treatment is an Acute Attack Mix; this contains antispasmodic herbs, which relax the cramping pain and others, which lubricate the passage of the stones. This mix is not shown on my standard list but is a proven formula. I don't like people taking it on its own because it does nothing to reverse the process of stone formation or to break down existing stones.
There are also some very simple things you can change in your eating and drinking habits, which make stone formation much less likely.
I look forward to helping you heal your condition.
