Yes it has been a long time since we last “spoke”. I must admit that since first dealing with McDowell's for the Cushing’s Herbal support tincture for my little Scottie, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the continued and welcome contact from your Herbal practice.
I didn’t expect such a holistic involvement, not only with the “patient”, in the first case 'Alfred the dog', but also with the client, me. Since I’ve been invited to keep you updated as to the results of using the various supplements, but have never really bothered to do so, I thought I would take the time to let you know about a couple things.
Firstly, our little champion, Alfred, made it to the age of 10 1/2. He had a good innings and we miss him very much. Our vet, who is very much in favour of “alternate modalities”, as she describes them, was very impressed with his vitality, in spite of his very serious health issues (he had Cushing's Disease). We credit yourtwo-part Cushing's Herbal Support and the raw food diet, advised by your staff along with excellent Veterinary care for his relatively healthy, happy life.
Secondly, The Collie Nose Drops continue to pay dividends for our friends’ Rough Collie. Whenever they run out and let any length of time go by before re-ordering, their dog relapses, so it’s undeniably helpful; thus their decision to double the order this time. (We've been buying the Collie Nose drops for them for over 4 years.)
Finally, me! A while back, I had noticed a worsening of my own allergies, following the loss of our other Scottie, Charlie. He made it ‘till 18 yrs. old. He was never in a fight, and was undoubtedly the best friend I’ve ever had. He was so kind to his little “brother”, Alfred, it was truly wonderful to see. Having them both was a blessing for all involved. We learned a lot about life through all that. But back to my allergies, I contacted one of your advisors with my concerns prior to an extended visit from my cousin’s West Highland terrier. We were to look after him for a month, and I didn’t want to spent the whole time avoiding the dog. You might be aware of how affectionate Westies can be. This little guy is a real “cuddle-buggle”. So, your advisor, whose name escapes me now, recommended your Allergic Rhinitis drops, which I purchased. Amazing results! No watery eyes, no sneezing, nothing. We were all very grateful and impressed, indeed. I should have written back to thank her. Maybe if you have access to a client history, you could find who she was and if you do, please thank her for me.
