This is Buck. He is a full blood Morgan horse. He suffered lameness in his off fore six weeks ago. After scanning it showed a fibre displacement in his Superficial Digital Flexor Tendon. I have no idea how it happened - it was during a Working Equitation rally.
It was suggested I contact Cath at McDowells which I did and on her recommendation and advice bought the Tendon and Bone pack. As soon as it arrived the tendon cream went on once a day, twice a day for the Allievate and Tendon and Bone Formula. Together with this I used a Red Light pad half an hour twice a day and magnetic boots during the night.
The vet came today and scanned, he is showing a good strong smooth tendon and with another month of slow work and rehab we are expecting he will be ready to get back into action!
I am so happy with this result. My two other horses both elderly Arabians 21 years old and 25 years old and absolutely love the Tendon and Bone Formula too, it's now a routine feed in my stables. I am sure it's doing them good.
Thank you,
Melissa
