Images prior to starting McDowells products
Just thought I’d touch base with your regarding my journey with George. It’s been approximately a month since George started the Mag-A-GG and a about 2-3 weeks since starting the Equigesta-Pre.
All I can say is ‘why didn’t I start this sooner?’
The pictures speak for themselves really. I cannot believe how ‘white’ his blaze and socks are. They haven’t even been washed! My gut told me that something was not quite right with him as his coat was so dull, the greasy heel and he struggles to hold weight.
The greasy heel is slowly healing, and he still needs help to keep the weight on - but not sure what else to do. Hopeful that in time it will improve. He arrived on 3rd Feb.
He had filled out, and gained some weight by March, but once the cold hit, it had vanished 😓 these pics are from March
And these are from today 18th June.
I’m intrigued to see if they’re are any changes under saddle.
Current feed is a hard feed once a day (sometimes two) made with;
- 1 scoop each oaten and lucerne chaff
- 1 scoop (1kg) rice bran
- 1/2 scoop copra
- 1/2 scoop Speedibeet
- 1 scoop of soaked rosehips
- Equigesta-Pre and Mag-A-GG
- Grass hay 1 biscuit
- Lucerne hay 1 biscuit
I will never forget our first phone call, when Trekker had his first tendon sheath infection somewhat 6 years ago. That small glimmer of hope that you provided in some of my darkest times. I will always recommend you to my friends, and many have contacted you and are so very grateful.
