Casey's Chronic Laminitis - McDowell's Herbal Treatments

SS CaseyAppaloosa

"I'd like to share my story with you...

My 17 year old Appaloosa gelding, Casey, who I bred and raised was diagnosed last August by my Veterinarian as having chronic laminitis.

The Vet prescribed Bute and Isoxiprine. After 3 days my horse went off his feed and I removed the meds from his diet. After 3 more days I called my Vet because my horses condition was worsening. He was still not eating and was losing weight very rapidly. His attitude was very depressed. The Vet examined him and pulled blood for a full screen panel. His findings were a shock to me when he said Casey's kidneys were nearly shut down and I should consider euthanizing him before he got much worse.

I continued to follow my instincts and kept Casey on the recommended diet and added yucca powder for the anti-inflammatory effect. He started to gain weight and looked good when I had his teeth floated in January. In February I started him on Founderguard, but after a few days he started to go off feed again. That's when I ordered your formulas and started Casey on them.

Immediately I saw an improvement as his attitude and his appetite picked up. His coat became very glossy and in a couple of weeks I felt the old boy was back. After the full course of treatment I put Casey back to work trailriding. Yesterday I had his blood tested for the full panel to compare results. His tests are all normal and my Vet was elated at the recovery.

To you, I owe a great big THANK YOU! Your products did what you claimed and I have my partner back. Next week we are going on a 5 day wagon train ride and I am so happy to have a sound and healthy horse to take along.

Sincerely, Sonya, Culver, Oregon USA

UPDATE:
Casey is doing fantastically. We had a wonderful summer and spent many days on mountain trails without any problems. I keep up the rosehips tea when the weather doesn't freeze it in the jug. I even have him on the diet this winter, due to his excellent use of food.

I am attaching a photo of Casey taken in the Wallowa Mtns of Easten Oregon while participating in a progressive ride covering 100 miles in 5 days. This was one of 2 such rides we completed this summer, 8 months after my vet had given up all hope of Casey surviving.

I cannot thank you enough for his wonderful treatment.
