Milo and Liver Cancer - McDowell's Herbal Treatments

"I am a psychologist who has worked in the hospital systems for over ten (10) years and one of my biggest passions in life are my dogs, that I laughingly refer to as my "hairy children." On January 06, 2004 our beloved Irish Wolfhound was diagnosed with liver cancer by a vet who told us that she "probably had two weeks to two months to live." Our Milo had been losing weight yet had continued to be affectionate, active and her own self so this news devastated us. We duteously placed her on the costly chemotherapy drugs and the laxative supplement prescribed by the vet alongside colourless, odourless canned "Liver Cancer" dog food that Milo would not touch. With in days our vital, loved dog started to isolate herself, withdraw from all activity and just "give up."

My brother mentioned that he knew that the Traditional Medicine Centre at Bathurst had been successfully treating dogs with all sorts of ailments so I gave McDowells a call. It was one of the best things I have ever done. You listened as I talked about my best friend, the vet prognosis and prescription. I felt that you not only cared about dogs but my dog in particular as we talked. You spoke about how "treating dogs was one of the most rewarding parts of your work" with such sincerity and authority that I had to believe him at a time when I believed very little.

McDowells advised that I stop the chemotherapy and laxatives that were killing my girl quickly, reassured me about weight loss as a natural process in sick dogs and advised me in the free consultation to replace the canned food for raw, fresh meat and bones. I received my first order of the Liver Cancer Support program and included Marine Pine Bark herbal blend in the mail and with fear but resolution ceased the vet prescription and provided the herbal treatments.

The first sign that something was working was my emaciated dog starting to eat again, return to walking every afternoon and returning to affection. Eleven months later and she is holding her own. At the time of writing I am looking forward to another Christmas with my girl who still walks daily, sings in pure delight when we come home from work and spent Sunday last week swimming on our local doggy beach on the Sunshine Coast with her Akita sister and Deerhound brother. Can I recommend McDowells? How could I not? At worst, I have been given eleven precious months to share with my girl and I think she knows that too.

Sincere thanks from us all."
