It has been 3 weeks since beginning the Hot Spot Program with the skin/blood cleanser. My chow has improved tremendously. No more scratching or licking. The fur seems to be coming back. The tip of her tail is slower but I believe it will start back soon. Her overall health seems to be much better as well. She is more energetic and wants to go on more walks.
I have been cooking brown rice and adding carrots and vegetables such as green beans and peas with raw chicken or turkey and some yogurt. The only problem still is her ear. It still has some drainage in it. Not much but just enough to hear. I have used peroxide followed by vinegar mixture and it helped a lot but only do it once a week. I don't want to irritate it. Our weather here is crazy. It is 25 degrees one minute then 80 degrees the next! All of the pets I care for are having ear problems and allergies.

After another week or so Pat wrote again, excited about the results:
I just had to let you know. My chow chow is the fluffiest she has ever been! She will be 11 this year and she acts like a puppy. No scratching or licking. Her fur is beautiful and thick. She has no odour problems as she always did before. It makes sense that healthy skin would not have odors but this is just amazing. She actually acts as if she knows the drops are helping her. She takes them without any problems.

One is giving their dog pills so they will not lick instead of getting down to the problem.
