I truly understand the anger and frustration of the client in the loss of their pet and regarding cancer treatments. Having been through the "torture" of losing two dogs to cancer in the last couple of years and treating a third one now, I can sympathize.
Treatments are so wide and varied due to the rise in cancer in dogs and owners now demanding that something be done. In not so many years past, people just gave up on their fur babies and let them go.
Two and half years ago, my Sonny dog was diagnosed with fatal hemangiosarcoma. He was given 4-6 months to live with chemotherapy, without, 6 weeks.
In researching on the internet, I came across Robert's website and am so very thankful I did. Using the extracts I got from Robert, and along with the chemo, I really believe they helped Sonny survive 22 and 1/2 months after his "death sentence".
Diet plays a part also. Dogs need meat protein, not processed grains. There is kibble brands available where the protein source is from meat and very little else is added. They do cost a little more, but you don't have to feed as much. Add some raw meat amd they are happy.
The vets all have said that it has been my "luck" to have three dogs in a row to come down with cancer and that I am not doing anything wrong. I believe it is my lot in life to love and take care of them, because they know I will.
