Hello All,
I just wanted to let you know that my beloved Honey passed away on Jan. 2nd. Shortly before Christmas she started to display the "signs" you told me to look out for, you were "right on target" not only with how long she would probably have but with what to look for at the end.
She had trouble eating, she wasn't as alert as she use to be, her breathing became more laboured and she developed a large growth on the side of her neck that opened up and was emitting a very foul odour. I realized that my worst fears were coming true and I did not want her to suffer anymore so with a very heavy heart I had her put to sleep. When I finally called them to put her down, they said that her making it as long as she did was "unheard of"!!
So please let others know this.
I cannot say how wonderful it was to give Honey your herbal treatments (I administered them in her food twice a day with absolutely no problems!)
I realized that not only did I not "throw the money away" like my vet wanted, but I gave her many months of a very high-quality of life! When she was diagnosed with the mammary tumours, the vet said she would only have a "couple months" if I did not have the surgery - but even if I did, the tumours would probably grow back anyway! For almost 3 years after that I never had to take Honey back to the vet - she was happy and healthy.
I just want to THANK YOU for helping me to give her almost 18 quality filled months. I know that during that time she was happy and content and I am ever grateful for that. I will always miss my baby but I'm glad for the time we had together and that I was able to find your fantastic herbal company and friendship.
