Pugs are a breed that are prone to mast cell tumours. Most often they are low grade 1 or II tumours.
Most recently my boy, Rex, had 5 pop up and we were considering using Stelfonta however on of the tumour was under the skin so surgery was the only option.
My vet suggested a course of Prednisolone and also McDowell's to see if it would help.
We previously used the McDowells treatment for a mast cell (which disappeared completely).
Happy to say that the tumours have gone again and Rex is now only on 1/2 and his McDowell treatment!
