I have just left a review as this product has done exactly what I hoped it would and Im very happy with the current results.
My girl has Syringomyelia and has been quite uncomfortable at times with frantic biting at the base of her tail and being very sensitive in that area.
It was quite difficult to groom her and at times when I touched it she would yelp or lunge at me. I spoke to neurologists about it on several occasions and he said it was nothing to do with her condition and try other options like anal glands, dietary changes as she may have food allergies and also flea treatment.
I did work on all 3 and sometimes it seemed to help for a little while but then it returned and I was at a loss to help her. In my heart I felt it was SM related and not environmental. It was quite stressful seeing her stressed with it.
I eventually decided to give your spinal stenosis a try and within a couple of days it pretty much disappeared… after that she has not done it since!
I am so thankful to see my girl comfy and being her normal self. The other thing I noticed is that I can groom her in the hind area and she doesn’t dip away or get anxious while doing it. Its just been wonderful to see results like this. I hope that one day she stops her air scratching – thankfully its not too much mostly early morning and occasionally during the day.
My ultimate aim would be to be able to reduce her gabapentin even just a little and have her still happy and playful. Is there any other products you suggest that may help with her neuropathic pain and allow me to reduce gabapentin?
