My Corgi suffered a spinal injury a couple of years ago - unfortunately Corgis are prone to back problems!
McDowells suggested I try him on his spinal stenosis mix which seemed to prevent the problem from getting worse.
As time went on (he is 12 years old now) it became obvious that his back was giving him some pain.
The vet prescribed non steroid pain relief tablets but I was a little concerned about their side effects, so I put him on the anti-inflammatory healer.
He is now back to his "normal" self; playing with my other dog and once again enjoying his daily walks.
At the moment he is still taking a small dosage of the tablets but I am hopeful that with time I may be able to take him off them completely and just rely on the combination of both mixes.
