Teal our 14 year old chocolate brown Patterdale terrier is terminally ill with cancer. Unfortunately what started as an abscess in August turned out to be a tumor on the inside of his mouth which was eventually diagnosed as a Fibrosarcoma Tumor by a Specialist Vet. He had to have his top 10 front teeth removed as well as 1/2 inch of his jaw bone, When we saw him after the operation we were in shock as he looked like he had been in a car accident. The true fighter that he is, he recovered in record time especially for a dog of his age.
Unfortunately in March of last year the tumor had returned on his nose which was a devastating blow to myself and my family, the only option our Vet gave us was steroids and antibiotics but we wanted more, we didn't expect a cure though like everyone else we pray for one, but we wanted to give him a better quality of life, so after much searching we came across McDowell's...

Teal is on Fibrosarcoma support and Maritime Pine Bark along with other herbal medication we have sourced along the way. Teal has now had his tumor for 1 1/2 years. He has started slowing down and is now unfortunately on steroids as well as all his herbal medication. His tumor is a considerable size but does not bother him and the vet confirmed he is in no pain. We live each day as it comes and like our dog Teal now have an appreciation for the small things that he enjoys. Our dog has a big heart which has touched many (including our vets), he loves life and to watch him fight as much as he can it is an honor to say that he is our dog.
We hope when his time comes he will pass peacefully and we will know that we done all we could have and that he lived life to the full, as he has had all this extra time after being re-diagnosed which he would not have had without his herbal medication.
