My Hungarian Vizsla "Hawk" damaged the end of his tail at two and half years of age (we cannot dock at birth) and had to have 13 cm amputated. This healed well but he contracted Golden staph (it took 2 years to get a vet to diagnose correctly!)
The original diagnosis was foliculitis, and after 2 years of different antibiotics and over two thousand dollars in vet bills Hawk still had the problem. At very little cost 7 months later Hawk's legs (which is where the infection was) has now cleared and hair is growing back.
My dog Hawk is happy healthy and has now been clear of Golden Staph for almost 6 months. The herbs he had to take were swallowed with enthusiasm and once he had finished the program he looked at his food because there were none on it!
I highly recommend the McDowells formulas to any person having problems which don't respond to antibiotics or standard treatments.
Herbal treatments are the only way to go, I just wish I had found the website sooner!
