"My dog has a corneal ulcer which has ruptured. Can anything you have help me?
We have tried everything and it looks as though she will lose her left eye soon."

My reply to her on March 22nd was:
"I make up an herbal eye treatment, which is quite amazing in its ability to clear infective problems, and heal up damage otherwise in the eye. It is always able to arrest the progress of severe eye problems in both humans and animals up to and including Psoriasis, which is the most invasive and painful condition I have come across.
My recommendation is that you order some of this simple and cheap concentrate, which will last indefinitely and be on hand for any injuries in future. It would certainly have cleared the original ulcer if it wasn't caused by a deep puncture wound in the first place.
The mix must be diluted as per the instructions and may be dropped into the eye with a dropper. Alternatively it can be put in a small pump spray (like a perfume spray) and prayed onto the eye which is often more comfortable for an animal which is sick and tired of prodding and poking about in its eye.
For a start I would make up a single batch and apply it in the morning and evening and later on only once per day should be enough.
Continue with this and let me know after about 4 weeks how you are getting on.
My first aim is to save the eye and then to see what sight if any is left."
March 23rd from Joan:
"Thank you for your quick reply.
I am very excited about ordering this herbal eyewash.
I have tried all conventional treatments for my little pug, Suzie, but with very little or no success.
Her eyes are both deteriorating rapidly so I have nothing to lose by trying new methods. She has corneal ulcers on both eyes and her eyes no longer produce tears.
There is an operation she could have but it costs almost $800 and I don't have the money. If I can just relieve Suzie's eye pain it will mean a lot. Suzie is a much beloved family pet.
She was my 'day care' dog and helped me raise my grandchildren. She is almost 8 years old. I am placing my order for the eyewash today.

On April 11th, 2002 I received the following report from Joan

"I wanted to give you a progress report on my little pug's corneal ulcers. I had ordered your herbal eyewash and I have used it for about a week and a half now.
When I started using it, Suzie had a small active corneal ulcer in her right eye that was extremely painful. She also had an inactive ulcer in her left eye that had ruptured and was trying to heal over and had left a huge gray spot in the middle of her eyeball. Her eyes were so painful that the vet had told me the day before that we would have to remove both of her eyes. I had been using 5 different medicines in her eyes for 2 months.
When I got your eye wash, I immediately quit using all medications except for one antibiotic salve. There was only a small amount left in the tube and I used it mostly for nighttime moisturizing. After using your eyewash for 2 days, Suzie was able to open her eyes for the first time in almost a month.
After 4 days she was no longer in pain. The ulcer in her right eye is completely gone and has left no scar. The ugly ulcer in her left eye is almost completely gone also. There is one tiny spot left, which I think will be gone soon. The eyeball looks clear again, all the grey is gone.
After the antibiotic salve was gone I started using one drop of castor oil in her eyes at night for moisture, and one drop of mineral oil in her eyes during the day if her eyes start looking dry. I started out using your eye wash three times a day, but now I have cut back to twice a day, per your instructions.
Suzie has taken an active interest in life again. She is getting her energy back. Her eyesight has improved immensely. Two weeks ago she seemed to not be able to see more than a few feet in front of her. Now she seems to be able to see almost as well as she used to.
I am so happy about your eyewash. I am going to take Suzie back to our Vet next week and make him look at her eyes. He is not going to able to believe that it is the same dog. Thank God I found you instead of having my precious little dog's eyes removed."
