The last few months have been slow with COVID-19, meaning sadly no events have been taking place. This hasn’t stopped my little team from working hard and training in all aspects of the discipline of eventing.
There have been fortnightly dressage lessons with Megan Jeorg, a local coach from Blayney. Show jumping lessons at Scots All Saints on the new sand area. Doreen and I have also been attending various show jumping and cross-country clinics with Sandy Lucas at Wallaby Hills, a large equestrian facility in the Southern Highlands and Show jumping clinics at Sue Blenheim’s new indoor arena in Orange with Andrew Barnett.
These opportunities have allowed Doreen and I to continue performing at our best even during these unprecedented times. We don’t have an event in the near future we are planning to go to due to COVID-19, but we are both extremely excited for when events come back and due to the nutritional support that we are able to access with McDowell’s Herbal Treatments, Doreen and I will be in peak performing health.
