Lately I have been extremely busy on the horses travelling around to recent events in the area.
On the 26th-28th of April I competed at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre in the Sydney International 3 Day Event in the CCN 1* class. In this class I was up against some world class riders bringing their up-and-coming horses through.
This made the competition quite tricky and ended in 12th place with a dressage score of 62% and no rails or penalties in show jumping and a clean cross country round.
The weekend of the 4-6th of May, I also competed in the Royal Bathurst Show, on both of my horses Renata and Doreen. I came away with four 1st place ribbons in the 75cm Grand Prix, 1.05m 2 phase, 1.10m 2 phase and 1.10-1.20m grand prix, along with a 5th in the 75cm 2 phase and 2nd in the 1.05m grand prix.
With how incredibly well the horses performed we were able to come away with the title of ‘Most Successful Showjumper Of the Royal Bathurst Show’ which included a nice rug and a trophy. In two week’s time Doreen and I are heading to Gundagai One Day Event where we will be competing in our first CCI-2*-S, which is very exciting.
