This is the story of an amazing, sweet, tough as nails little schnauzer named Chloe.
I adopted Chloe when she was somewhere around 2-2 1/2. She went to the rainbow bridge at about 17 years old.

Chloe would have never made it to 17 if it were not for McDowell’s Herbal treatments. It was not only the tonics that they provided but it was their loving and caring touch with every encounter. I have never met them but I feel that they are my friends and hope one day to meet them.
They gave me the gift of six additional years with Chloe.....
Chloe had a small lump I had it biopsied and the vet assured me it was a fatty lump. But the lump grew and was just different. Chloe had lost energy and just was tired all the time. I decide to have it removed and it was diagnosed as a nerve sheath tumor. The vet told me they were slow growing but usually came back within a year.
I was heart broken and immediately e-mail Kate and she suggested some tonics and additions to her diet. I started her on the tonics and she healed, her energy returned and she was her old self. As we approached the year mark I held my breath but no lump, year two no lump at the very end of year three a small lump returned. Since Chloe was doing so well and all of her labs came back healthy my vet again removed the lump.
She bounced right back from surgery and continued on with her life. The next time we were not so lucky the lump came back very angry in 10 months. It was hard and red, this time my vet said no surgery so I again contacted Kate and she told me to double the doses of tonic and added a new one. By end of November the large red angry lump was gone and a small lump remained.
My wish was that she see her 161/2 birthday in April - which she did. But as spring grew into summer her walks became shorter and her days were filled with more naps. She ate well and was happy. In late July she began to falter more and I knew I had to let her go and with tears in my eyes I sent her on her way with the promise I would see her again.
The reason I share Chloe’s story with you is that if not for herbal treatments, if not for the staff I would have not have had Chloe for six more years. I am so grateful for the gift that they have given me and I thank them from the bottom of my heart. They have always answered my emails, my questions with sincerity, honesty, and compassion.
