My pony Gypsy has been diagnosed with Cushings disease earlier this year so I have put her on McDowell’s Cushings Mix.
Last summer her coat did not shed as normal that was the sign that I decided to have her tested for cushings. She started on the herbs the end of June.
Well, it has been an enormous success! She is healthy happy and looks a million dollars this summer.
Her first test was done in March (not that you should test then because it is always higher in Autumn).
The ACTH was 339, then after being on herbs for 2 months ACTH was 53
Then the last test late Oct 17 ACTH is 32 - uggested level to be 29. Great results!
Her coat has completely shed and she looks wonderful I will attach a pic so you can see.
