We have used Alleviate for a number of years now with great success for pain management in our horses for a wide variety of ailments and injuries.
As it's a herbal treatment it is by far the best treatment for abscesses because, it's my understanding, that 'bute' can hinder the abscess from coming through.
Using Alleviate helps the horse with pain and aids, not interferes, with the body's natural healing.
I know for a fact that it works really well because I take it myself for chronic shoulder pain and whilst it takes a little while to kick in, it addresses the pain so successfully as well as feels like a very healthy 'pick me up' and tonic :) A wonderful product!
