Hello Robert,
My horse "Foster" had a melanoma surgically removed from his eyelid . To increase the rate of healing after surgery, I have purchased the:
I put two capfuls of each in both of Foster's water buckets after the surgery, so that the effects would be spread out more evenly over a longer period.
I also fed him a scoopful of the millet/flax mixture that I make up and added the anti-inflammatory and colloidal silver in it to be eaten about an hour after surgery.
The vet had given him bute and banamine.
This morning I called to see how he was doing. The trainer said she and the vet were amazed at the lack of swelling and the amount of healing. Normally the eyelid should be swollen the size of a golf ball, and oozing blood for several days since the area can't be sutured.
The eyelid is so remarkably normal that Foster will be allowed to go out to pasture tomorrow with a fly mask on. Hurray for the herbs! I feel so vindicated, as I am bemusedly tolerated as an eccentric by the people in our barn and even my own family.
It is dramatic results like this which make it all worthwhile, especially as it shows that there is a vast world of knowledge beyond conventional medicine. Many, many thanks.
