I wanted to pass on many thanks for all your help with Cori's treatments. I am heartbroken to tell you that Cori passed away on Monday, November 12th due to strangulation of the intestine. I rushed him down to a hospital in Portland Oregon for surgery thinking it was Colic, but they said he had fatty tumors in his belly and that one had wrapped itself around the intestine. This happened suddenly, overnight with no warning.
I wanted to let you know also that he was also, finally, walking completely sound. Thanks to all of you, his last few months were spent feeling great, running and bucking like he did before his injury. Thank you for that.
I'm sending his photo so you can see the horse you brought so much comfort to in the past few months. He was a true gentleman and my soul mate from the animal world.
