TINKERBELLE'S BIRTHDAY UPDATE
We took Tinky to Laguna Beach recently for her 15th year birthday party.
The restaurant made her her very own grilled chicken breast with a large bowl of water on the side.
She ate every bite and played at the beach the next day.
She had a real good birthday this year and we are all thanking you & McDowell products!
Tinkerbelle as a puppy
The moment we saw Tinkerbelle, we knew she was our girl.
We had looked for months, and happened to walk into the mall pet shop, and there she was.
She was a tiny little puppy girl with hardly any hair that was sleeping between two big Australian Shepard puppies.
From the start she was so smart, to know to cuddle up next to those chubby, furry puppies.
When we brought her home she was so weak that we put our mattress on the floor and had to lift her up on it. Ron took Tinkerbelle dilligently to the Vet for one year until she was healthy enough for her puppy shots.
In retrospect, we wish we had known about McDowell back then.
Since that time, Ms. Tinkerbelle Poohgirl has been an important part of our family; our daughter dog.
She has gone with us on every vacation, her favorite vacation spot is the beach, which makes sense because she is a chocolate lab/brittany spaniel mix. She is definetly a proper young lady and everyone who meets her loves her. She is just that special.
Tinkerbelle has had several surgeries including both back knees, an ear growth removed, and a tumor removed. She has come through it all like a champ.
We have her on McDowell products because of stiffness in her back legs where she had the surgery, fatty tumors and growths that have come with age, and most recently a mix for her eyes for eye comfort due to cataracts. We feel that a combination of McDowell products and her local vets have given her quality of life, and daily joy to all three of us.
Did I mention that Tinkerbelle is 14 1/2 years old & we are planning a Big Birthday Bash for her at Laguna Beach in September!!!
